The Clippers have been frequent buzzcut recipients of late as they dropped their 2nd straight Monday, falling to the visiting Indiana Pacers 133-116 as 6-point favorites. On the front end of that back-to-back, they were defeated by the Sixers 121-107 Sunday as 9-point home favorites. They have dropped 6 of their last 9 outings and are clinging to a half-game lead over the New Orleans Pelicans for the 4th spot in the West. F Paul George has been steady, however, averaging 24.1 PPG this month while averaging 22.5 on the season.

The Sixers dropped their back end of a back-to-back with a 108-96 loss as 7.5-point road underdogs at the Sacramento Kings Monday. G Tyrese Maxey had a game-high 29 points on 5-for-7 shooting from downtown, but he didn't get much help. Maxey has 24+ points in 8 of his 10 games this month. Let's give this kid his due in keeping the Sixers afloat in C Joel Embiid's absence as they're tied for 7th with the Miami Heat.

So, as mentioned, the Sixers went to LA and punked the Clippers 121-107 as 9-point dogs just 3 days ago, and now they're +200 at home?

Yeah, it's a trap. As much as I love Maxey, they got 24 from starting F Tobias Harris and 23 from G Cameron Payne off the bench in that game. There are signs that the Clippers are coasting right now, but I can't bring myself to the conclusion that F Kawhi Leonard and PG13 don't turn the lights off on the Sixers.

That said, there's no chance I'm paying -250 on the Clippers for it to happen. Instead, let's SGP CLIPPERS ML + TYRESE MAXEY 20 POINTS + PAUL GEORGE 18 POINTS (+120) for a nice return.

Against the spread

I don't like the idea of either side of the spread here.

Instead, Clippers G Russell Westbrook returned Monday after nearly missing a month with a hand injury. He had 14 points, 7 dimes and 4 boards. TAKE RUSSELL WESTBROOK OVER 15.5 POINTS + REBOUNDS + ASSISTS (-125).

Over/Under

The Sixers are 1-8-1 O/U over their last 10 games. The Clippers are 7-3 as they've eclipsed 100 points in 9 of 10. The Clippers have fallen short of 100 in 6 of 10. This went Over 216 Sunday because Philly scored 121, but I don't see a repeat.
